Crossing Over

So, yeah, the rumors are true -- I'm moving to Brooklyn. And in case you hadn't heard, I have a patio. Barbecues are on.

I will be in living in Carroll Gardens again ... though, technically, last time, it was my ex's apartment and I just stayed there. After living in Manhattan for five or so years now, it's a big change. But now that I'm 30 (may have mentioned that once or twice before), I want a grown-up apartment. You know, with a real bedroom that can fit more than my bed. And a full bathroom that isn't split up into two parts. And more than one closet.

Oh, and I'm getting a bike. You're thinking, "Seriously, who are you?" Yes, times are a-changing, people. And I'm a-changing with them.

Actually, I've been spending a lot of time in various parts of Brooklyn. I watched the Fourth of July fireworks from Greenpoint. Of course, that would've been a lot cooler had they been over the East River as usual. Instead, they were over the Hudson to celebrate that river's anniversary. But it was still pretty neat to see the fireworks exploding around the Empire State building.
